Since its founding in 1963, Kennesaw State University has a strong tradition of supporting the professional development of faculty, staff, and administrators. In the summer of 1997, under the leadership of President Betty Siegel, and with input from all university employees, the Center for University Learning was established to meet the need for enhanced training in technology, management, supervisory, and office professional skills.
Today, the center offers a wide range of training, coaching, and organization development services to our campus community and our partner institutions in the Professional Development Consortium of the University System of Georgia. As an internal resource, the Center is able to provide quality service to our clients at low cost.
In 2013 the Kennesaw State University was identified as one of the top ten large colleges nationally for professional development by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
